Penalties after an NHL game is over?

Yesterday when the Anaheim Ducks played the Detroit Red Wings there were a bunch of penalties essed at 20:00 of the third period. After the 2 off-setting pairs of fighting majors, the Ducks ended up with 2 minor penalties and 2 game-misconducts. I ume that the minor penalties will not be carried over, but what about the game misconducts? They would normally be kicked out of the game, but the game was over, so what happens? Does Detroit get screwed over and not get any advantage from it? Or does Anaheim get gypped and have to play without 2 of their best players for game 7? Either way it seems a bit like someone is getting screwed, but after watching this series it seems like Detroit deserves a break. I couldn't find anything in the rule book about what happens with misconducts after the game is over, so I figured someone on here might know. Thanks.
