How can I help my 21 month old son feel better, he's sick now?

My husband caught a form of bacterial bronchitis from some people he works with, and now our son has some chest and sinus congestion with a slight fever. I have been giving him andehist (per nurses orders), alternating with tylenol for the fever and keeping him cool with a damp cloth on his head occasionally, suctioning his nose but are there any other steps I can take to help him get/feel better faster? He looks so pitiful, I feel so bad.
