I am looking for a child's book about a pig with a curly tail or non-curly.?

I think this pig was not blessed with a curly tail and was not entered into the fair. I read this book as a grade schooler back in 1956 or so. For some reason it has stuck with me and I would love to find a copy. Anyone have any memories?
