Is it wrong to compare my new BF to my dead ex ?

Maybe your just looking for those certain qualities in men that you really like, there is a reason why you fell in love with Kenneth. Of course the new guy that your with would have the same qualities as your ex but if it comes to it maybe you can describe some of the old qualities that your ex- had but don't really blow everything over because it puts a guy in an uncomfortable position.
