Why is it, MOST CONS don't really answer questions BUT just take jabs at the one that asked it?

ESPECIALLY, when it does not coincide with their way of thinking OR it challenges their way of thinking? Seriously, I would like to get some real thought thru answers from CONS as to why they do this?
