For a photography begginer, which camera should i get ? [2 links] please do help!?

I am a die hard Canon Fan I have the 10D which is the big brother to the Rebel. Several newspaper reporters I know that do their own photography use the Rebel. It is a good stable platform to build on. The optics for the Rebel are awesome they range from very short macro lenses to the several hundred MM zoom lens. I have several lenses that I use for different purposes. The 300 MM for long distance nature work and a 70mm lens for everyday work. The lens you choose will be determined by the work you want to do.
