I work in health care, what is up with inexperienced people......?

calling the residents with alzeheimers and the mentally challenged, crazy, or i will quote "crazier than hell". Why don't health care facilities hire good quality people that care and have common knowledge that mental problems are no different than physical and put their self in that persons shoes for just a few minutes. I am tired of them treating the residents with disrespect and getting mad at me for taking their side. It is so hard to work with people that just don't care and want the job to be easy for them and not give a thought of what the resident is going thru. Please help me to understand this. I am 52 and God help if someone puts me in a place like that, I have worked in 3 very upscale isted livings and they are all alike. You might get one good worker and the rest are only there to get a pay check.
