How to approach doctor with suspicion of Cushing's respectfully and without undermining her position?

Just explain that a "friend" thinks ur symptomes match that of the disease and say you wanted a professional opinion because your friend could be wrong. THen it sounds like you are second guessing your "friend" and not the doctor :)
