Driver's Permit?? PLZ Help, i really need to find out soon?

k. so i am 15 and will be 15 and a half on april 8th and i really need to start finding where i need to go and/or if i need to take cles to get my permit. My dad wont help cuz he wants me to be "resource full" and find it out for myself to show that i really want it....so any help would be good. umm...so i would like to kno if you need to take cles to get ur permit and if you do.....any websites that are good and u guys have used. and if you know of any tht are around canyon high school anaheim hills. thanks in advance. sorry it was so long and kind of repetitive.
