Australians are being 'encouraged' not to take in Australian flags to a concert, how would you react to this?

the organizers feel it will incite racial tension amongst groups and could cause riots. this comes just a day before Australia day when we should be proud to be aussies and encouraged to support our country. has the world gone crazy?? what would your reaction be if asked to do the same in your country and why??
